About Barbara Collier

Barbara is a paralegal and Office Manager, starting with our firm in March 2007. She began her career with us as Production Paralegal and has since developed the knowledge and expertise in estate planning and elder law necessary to provide the highest quality of customer service to our clients. Her friendly demeanor and superior client relations skills make her a valuable asset. When she meets with clients, they leave happy and ready to share their experience with family and friends.

Experience

Barbara has been in the legal field for more than twenty-five years. Before coming to work at Moulton Law Offices, Barbara was a paralegal in Montana working for the electric and gas utility, NorthWestern Energy [formerly The Montana Power Company], doing a variety of corporate and litigation tasks, including managing a complex class action. She had previously worked in New Hampshire for a personal injury firm as Legal Secretary/Paralegal to one of the founding partners. Barbara has many memories of fascinating jury trials, depositions, and working extensively with legal counsel to bring to her position at the firm. Barbara’s experience outside the legal field includes managing the day-to-day operations for a private distribution company, where they imported and distributed Canadian newsprint throughout New England.

Education

Barbara graduated from Hellgate High School in Missoula, Montana. She attended the Vocational Technical Centers in both Missoula and Great Falls, Montana, studying accounting and Legal Secretary. She took various accounting and computer courses through the University of New Hampshire. Barbara received her Certificate in Contemporary Legal Assistant studies in 1997 from McGraw-Hill, graduating with highest honors.

Personal

Barbara was born and raised in Deer Lodge, Montana. Barbara is married, has three children, and seven grandchildren. Barbara and her husband, Greg, breed, raise and train registered AQHA and APHA horses. They stand an AQHA stallion, Poco Lena Hickory. Poco is an own son of the famous Doc's Hickory x Lena's in Command; and is an NCHA money earner himself. They have 6 broodmares; and always have horses of various ages in various stages of training and competition. They also enjoy music, hunting and other outdoor activities.
